A class carpet will make a difference to my students by providing a safe space where students can engage in discussion, connection, structured learning, and build community. Students will use this space to engage in math, reading, writing, science and so many other ways! Our carpet space will nurture critical thinking and questioning, support students in connecting with themselves, each other and develop vital and important communication skills for self-advocacy and equity. This tool will provide ALL students with a safe space where they can receive the assistance they need, engage with deep and challenging learning and most importantly develop a lifelong love of learning!

About my class
