We are a hands-on classroom located in a school which prides itself on integrating the Creative Arts. Our classroom explores the world outside our window by bringing it into our classroom. As lifelong learners, we explore by asking questions and incorporating nature, world view and technology harmoniously into the curriculum. In this way, we approach all learning styles and interests of our diverse community of learners. My classroom is diverse in areas of ethnicity, gender, and socio-economic status. I teach all subject areas to a group of vibrant and inquisitive 1st graders. I am passionate about bringing learning to life in my classroom and showing students that they are an important part of the larger world.
