My students and I reside in the state of California in the beautiful city of Bakersfield. I was blessed to be placed in a kindergarten class of 30 students. My school, is a public school that educates title one, EL students, and students with special needs. 98% of the students at my school receive free breakfast and lunch. The principal also works on yearly grants which provide my students with healthy fruits and veggies for snack time. We offer transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. My students are between the ages 5 and 6. They are eager to work and ready to expand their knowledge. I would love to have more math, science, literature, social studies, arts, and engineering manipulatives, games, and activities for my students to explore. I help build a positive, safe, loving, and educational atmosphere in my classroom for my students to master the Common Core State Standards and gain the love of learning.
