Throughout the year we work on all the different science categories and I want to make the sciences more memorable for our students. My project includes the Makey Makey creative circuit interface so that students will be able to create music, pictures, videos, or whatever else they may dream up to help them become more immersed in the sciences. Project based learning is much more memorable for students when they are allowed to incorporate their creative influences to demonstrate their knowledge of the content. For example, when we study the human body students would be able to create their own music or video to help them with the circulatory system, the respiratory system, etc. The same Makey Makey kits can be used when we study space, or physical science too. I chose the Makey Makey system because of its endless possibilities. Students will only be limited by their own imagination. The Makey Makey system of expression is a simple interface system that can be used by ALL students regardless of ability or age. Please help me make learning science fun for these wonderful children. They are our future and we need to fund their inquisitive nature with something new and exciting.
