These books will be used during our Library weekly Book Club and the students will be able to keep the books given for this project. Book clubs are a great way for students to read different books and also make new friends and gain new perspectives on the world. Students will be able to, not only read the books, but discuss the issues brought with stories that might intertwine with their/ our realities. Students can always borrow books from the library, but have to return them. Usually the school library doesn't buy books by sets which would also benefit the book club.
