Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey last year, the Wharton Tiger athletes were unable to receive basic necessities for a successful basketball season. Our kids were displaced for several weeks, and in some cases separated from their families. When the waters receded, and we were able to return to school, our team found that a lot of our team items were ruined and all of our technology was destroyed. Our students would be thrilled to receive a new iPad for filming games and uploading statistics and a computer for accumulating statistics, watching games, and drill work videos. We were also unable to have proper basketballs for the upcoming season, so any financial assistance will allow us to have a fresh start for the 2018-2019 season. We continue to work hard to rebuild our community, and team piece by piece. Thank you for all of your help!
