Our beautiful school just opened for the 2016-17 school year, so we don't have years of supplies built up yet. My students are hard working and passionate. They each filled out an application to become part of Melva Davis Academy of Excellence, a public parent choice school. District-wide we have an average of 87% free and reduced lunch students, so student's don't come to school with many supplies of their own. I strive to provide a welcoming and exciting learning environment where student's have all they need to succeed. I provide students with everything from pencils and paper, to technology based engaging lessons, to art supplies for doodle notes, and more.

About my class
