By using these Chromebooks during small-group time each day, my students will be able to go deeper in their learning about core concepts. They will be able to research things that they are interested in and on their level. They love technology, and being able to use it responsibly in a classroom setting will help them start creating a positive digital footprint while exploring school-approved topics in an exciting and relevant way. Students are more engaged when using technology and this will help engage even my less motivated students! There are also many Google tools that they will be able to use that will ignite their creativity. If they are able to receive these Chromebooks, they will be able to make their learning at school more fun and we will use more than just textbooks. This project will help them see school not just as a place they have to go every day, but as a place where they can enhance their life through technology.
