Technology is a huge part of our society, and this increases every day. Without the skills needed, our children will not be prepared to meet the skills let alone prosper in college or a career. My students do not have access to tools that will help them meet these ever-increasing needs, and I want to help them learn how to use as many tools as possible so that they will not only learn how to use technology but have fun learning core content as well. There are so many ways to incorporate reading, math, science using tablets in small groups, whole groups, and individually, and they love it. My goal is to get a tablet for every student in my class to use while they are at school. It is effective and fun, and it promotes independence as well as working together as a team.
