Using the document camera, students can share their work with the class easily and clearly. I can place any object under the camera and share it immediately with the whole group. I plan to make edits to our group novel in real time on the whiteboard. I will display a handout on the board and students can come up and work together as a team. Students can become the teacher and share their work with the whole class. Combining a document camera with a Chromecast and projector means I can share anything I need with ease! As a Hawaiian studies teacher, I find a lot of sources in older Hawaiian books and even maps that are out print. Being able to display these important texts in a size that everyone can see would be life-changing in my classroom as well as for the community!
