My students love to learn and I want to provide them with a variety of learning platforms. While the class does have access to some computers, there are not enough for each student to have one to use when we are using technology to further our understanding. Having these Kindles will enable my students to learn at their own pace and at their individual level. Leveraging the Kindle Fires will enable the students to access certain websites that are not only fun and interactive but educational too! They will be an amazing resource for the students to use when conducting their research projects and when using educational resources during centers or small groups. Every student has a unique set of needs in a classroom. Leveraging the Kindles will allow me to develop an individualized approach for those students that need specialized instruction in writing and reading. If you have read this far, I would like to thank you for your consideration. Your support will help me in allowing my students to grow in the areas where they need additional support as well as engaging with one another.
