Hello! Thank you for your time checking out my profile. I love preparing an inviting environment that allows my children to thrive. I enjoy giving opportunities for each child to make decisions, make mistakes, and learn. It is the best feeling to observe our community peacefully solve problems and make peace. I'm a lower elementary Montessori trained teacher who is passionate about Montessori philosophy. I currently don't work in a Montessori school so I challenge myself to follow each child's interests and incorporate choices throughout the day while regularly introducing groups to new, exciting hands on materials. We had a special kindergarten community for the 2015-16 school year with so much kindness and an average of 2 years growth in reading! Now we're tackling first grade together!
