Our high school is a rural school in the heart of Utah with limited funds. We produce an award-winning newspaper that is as excellent as many of the 4A and 5A school papers around the state. My students come in every day an hour before school starts to work on the newspaper. They are dedicated to producing an excellent product and sharing that product with the school and community. We send our newspaper out to nearly 500 subscribers in the area, and we distribute hundreds within the school. Currently, the chairs we have are in complete disrepair. They are literally unsafe to use due to broken legs and seats. Our school has been helpful in purchasing more computers for our students, but there is no room in the budget for chairs.
