We are a diverse high school with just over 700 high school students. Our students come from all races and demographics. While a lot of our students come from stable homes, there are many who are couchsurfing each night. Despite this diversity, our kids are amazing and thrive. Our graduation rates and test scores show that amazing things are happening! My classroom sees freshman, advanced sophomore, and yearbook students on a daily basis. The classes are busy, motivated and engaged. While technology is not available on a daily basis for the English classes, we get creative and find ways to make real-learning happen every time they walk through the door.
