The young adults in my classroom are ages 18 - 22 and have various special needs. This program is a work-based learning program to give each young adult the opportunity to gain vocational and soft skills tailored to their individual skills set. The reason I am creating this project is because I want to create a business enterprise where the students create and personalize a variety of items. This would allow the students to partake in the manufacturing and sales process and help the program become self funding. The funds will be used for enhancement activities for daily living skills opportunities.
