The students are 6-9 years old in a combined classroom of 1st through 3rd grade. We are a public Montessori school, in a major city with over 500 students in Pre-school to 8th grade. All students qualify for free lunch. The students are diverse in their color, heritage, religion and general way of being. They are life. Again, they are all different. They all have their strengths and all have their weakness. A few are above grade level, a few more at grade level and most struggling to get there. They are my biggest worry and my greatest love. Family life in general is messy and for these students sometimes messier. Who are they? Children.
