Research tells us that students learn best when their physical needs are met. I am thrilled to be a new teacher, but my first classroom will be filled with only five group tables and 27 student chairs. If a student wants to sit somewhere different to learn, their only option at this point would be the floor. With this project, students will be able to sit where they learn best. This project will allow students to grab a padded folding chair, or choose a big beanbag seat, and find a spot somewhere different than their group table. They can read, use a Chromebook, or even complete an assessment in comfort!
