After spending a full day in school, members of the Scholars' Society chose to continue working on academic pursuits. Brain work is taxing, and these students work hard! Students need energy to do well on their homework and master essential skills. Students work better with a healthy snack such as fruit, fruit snacks, and Chex mix, but providing food for all Scholars has proved challenging. Our drinking fountains can be unreliable, and students prefer to drink bottled water. After spending a large amount of personal funds on top of charging students a fee for snacks, we are ready for a change.

About my class
