My students often struggle with managing frustration and anger as a result of some of the trauma they experience on a daily basis. Whether they are experiencing grief/loss, domestic violence, abuse or poverty, just coming to school each day is half of the challenge of getting an appropriate education. Having access to therapeutic items like calming sounds, floor chairs, books and crafts to do while self-soothing, can help them feel safe and settled so they can return to their daily learning tasks. Your donations will strengthen the social and emotional skills my students need to be successful both in school and in life! Thank you for your generous support!
