Students will have the opportunity to represent student voice, as well as pride in our school and community, by collaborating, asking questions, problem-solving, celebrating, and creating, through their very own school magazine. I want to challenge, encourage, and empower my students to meet their full potential by stimulating their minds, cultivating our school pride, and connecting students to the real-world. I want my students to be excited to write, to be proud of their work, and to constructively interact with their peers, as well as the ever-changing world around them in order to grow and to be successful young adults! The requested Hammermill paper will be used to publish student articles, interviews, artwork, poetry, and even more in an organized format. The orange Astrobrights paper will be used for the cover of each magazine to represent our school colors. The students look forward to creating the magazine title, as well as illustrating the cover pages. Our goal is to ensure that all students and staff receive a copy of our CBMS school magazine to engage students, build on our school culture and pride, while also encouraging involvement in our wonderful community. Each issue will then be bound by Fellowes plastic binding spines to give our magazine a neat, published issue of their work. The previous teacher that retired left the binding machine for me to utilize for my students and I cannot wait to see their work get published!
