Having access to these Chromebooks will give my students the ability to work on technology based projects that they would otherwise not be able to participate in. It's important that my students know how to operate and use basic software, most of which can't be accessed through tablets. My students will be able to complete digital presentations, do research, and become comfortable with operating software such as PowerPoint and other word processing programs. This is especially important due to state standards now incorporating the use of technology. My students aren't provided with enough technology to ensure that we are covering all of the standards that need to be covered.
