I am a 7th grade English Teacher. Aside from that, I am the teacher of "Teening to Adults", Site-Leader for after school clubs, and the soccer coach. Having all these different students around me has motivated me to show them who I am and the world they have in front of them. I want the students to be able to sit in the grass and listen to audiobooks such as "The Outsiders" "Ender's Game". Students should be able to sit outside and enjoy a sunny day while reading a good book, appreciating podcasts, exploring nature, and stargazing. Students can even paint outside! Each item will play a specific role in the appreciation of nature. The binoculars will give us the ability to observe animals, plants, and celestial objects from the safety of our school. The telescope will give us the ability to observe celestial objects during the winter months when the stars are the brightest and the nights come early. The Speaker will give us the opportunity to unite as a class, club, or team via dancing, meditation, and team building exercises. My goal for this donation to show my students how big the world is and how many things are waiting to be appreciated. With these items my students will grow to love, appreciate, and respect nature.
