The classroom carpet we currently have has been in this room over 10 years. It is worn out and frail ; edges have become a distraction for our students. Many of our whole class activities take place on the carpet. Having a new rug with individual spaces will allow our kindergarten students to have a place to call their own personal space. Additionally, students would be able to engage in pair sharing activities more efficiently due to visible divisions on the carpet. This carpet will benefit two Spanish Immersion Kindergarten classes sharing one classroom. We hope it will be with us for another ten years.
