On any given day, you can find my students engaged in a variety of activities. They all come from very low income families and many have absent parents due to different reasons, including irregular work schedules and absenteeism. Despite all odds, they come to school each day eager to learn! My 2nd graders come from all different backgrounds, but they all love to learn. I want to be able to give them every opportunity that they deserve in our classroom. I want them to have access to things they may not get at home. I want them to become the best students that they possibly can!
