It is my goal to prepare my students to thrive in an increasingly global society. A Chromebook will provide access to digital resources such as online books, educational games, and Google Classroom. Access to current technology is essential for students to develop the skills they need to succeed. My 20 students are currently sharing 3 computers, two of which will soon be obsolete. For much of the school day, these computers are utilized for mandated testing. This leaves limited opportunity for instructional use. School is the only time that many of them have exposure to educational technology. This Chromebook has the necessary specifications for our assessments and Internet usage on our district server. It will significantly increase the amount of online resources that my students can enjoy!
