My classroom is a special needs classroom that consist of many disabilities. The disabilities can range from cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, down syndrome, autism and many others. In our classrooms we do many hands on activities, field trips and community based instructions. We not only work on academics but we do a lot of vocational lessons. We teach them how to take care of themselves, how to work at a job and some we teach them how to communicate with others because making friends is very important to these kiddos. But most of all, we have fun and try to live life to the fullest.
