My students are a brilliant, driven group of emerging scientists and healthcare heroes in the Bronx. They are pushing academic boundaries by tackling advanced sciences, including Chemistry, Physics, Paleontology, and Botany, while actively preparing for really meaningful careers in the future through HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) and environmental conservation with the Billion Oyster Project (BOP). As an urban school, our students do not always have immediate access to expensive lab equipment or clinical resources. Despite these hurdles, they possess an incredible drive for hands-on learning. Whether they are training for medical competitions, performing dissections during lunch, learning CPR, or studying local estuarine ecology, my students thrive when they can learn by doing. Your support helps bridge the gap between their massive career ambitions and the physical resources they need to succeed.
