My students come from all over NYC but, mainly, they're from the Bronx. They are 100% passionate about their trade but need a push about academics. They are tough and play basketball like their opponent is King James himself. Provided that they are on track to graduate, Bx Design students have many options post high school. Some go forward to college, others will go straight to work for large (MTA) and small (Smalls Electrical) companies; while, still others will snag coveted spots in Construction Skills an apprentice program. It is vital, therefore, that students remain locked in regarding their college and career progress
