My students come from mostly middle class families, however, over the years our demographics have consistently changed. We are now seeing students with more academic needs, and are always looking to find ways to get them excited about learning. Although over 1/2 of my students have the skills to create wonderful pieces of writing, I am finding a real need to provide them with a new way to challenge their approach and creativity. I know my students will be excited and really motivated to create a well developed story by using this method of writing. We are a K-6th grade school with about 500 students. I have 28 students in my classroom.
