My kindergarten students come to school with a wide range of academic and developmental needs. Many enter my classroom below grade level in early literacy and math and have had limited access to books, educational resources, and enriching learning experiences outside of school. The majority of my students come from low-income households, and for many families, school is one of the primary sources of support and opportunity. My goal is to teach the whole child by creating a classroom where every student feels safe, valued, and capable of success. Through engaging, hands-on learning experiences and meaningful relationships, I help my students build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and develop a lifelong love of learning. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and with the right resources and support, my students can exceed every expectation.
