Your kindness has already made a meaningful difference in the learning environment for my students, and we are truly grateful for your support.\r\n\r\nThe new books have brought so much excitement into our classroom. These new texts are helping students build important literacy skills every day. Through these books, students are practicing comprehension, making predictions, identifying characters and themes, expanding vocabulary, and learning how to make connections between what they read and their own lives. These texts also create opportunities for meaningful discussions, critical thinking, and a deeper love of reading.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is an active and engaging experience. Students read independently, with partners, and in small groups. We use our books during read-alouds, guided reading, and classroom discussions. The flexible seating has made reading time even more special. Students are able to choose comfortable spots that help them focus, feel relaxed, and fully enjoy their books. This has created a cozy, welcoming environment where students are excited to read and learn.\r\n\r\nSeveral students have especially enjoyed the new books. Some of my more reluctant readers have been drawn in by the fresh selection and are showing more enthusiasm and confidence during reading time. Other students who already love books have been eager to explore new stories, share recommendations with classmates, and talk about their favorite characters and lessons. It has been wonderful to see students feel more engaged, comfortable, and motivated because of your generosity.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our classroom and in my students' learning. It is important to create a classroom where students feel physically and emotionally safe, where they can take risks without fear of judgment and where they feel a sense of belonging. \r\n\r\nA part of fostering academic success is to maintain a clean, germ-free learning environment. This is difficult with 3-5 year old students. We use a lot of disinfecting wipes, baby wipes, and Kleenex. That is why my class was ecstatic to see the donated items. \r\n\r\nLastly, writing is a necessary part of our curriculum. We write throughout the day. The students love to show what they have learned in their journals, stations, and/or response cards. We use a lot of crayons to bring our drawings to life. \r\n\r\nI will share some photos of our classroom and our daily routine of sanitizing and some of their great writings.","fullyFundedDate":1734895206206,"projectUrl":"project/wipe-and-write/8971073/","projectTitle":"Wipe and Write","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Robyn McAdams-Ford","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1017593_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1613620630421","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1017593"},{"teacherId":6526184,"projectId":5574020,"letterContent":"I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donation toward my Pre-K Summer Gift Bag initiative.
