Each year our school spends several hundred dollars of our (already slim) library budget purchasing replacements for lost books. Many of our students, for heart-breaking reasons outside of their control, are unable to return their books and/or pay for the books they borrow from the library. Rather than insisting that they stop borrowing books, I often forgive their "fines." Given this, I am unable to buy all of the titles students request. The books on this Amazon list were chosen specifically by the children at my school. Please consider helping our community of readers! Your donation would mean the world to the young students who love using our library!
