My students are bright, curious, and resilient 10th and 11th graders who bring creativity and determination into our English classroom every day. They come from diverse backgrounds and each has a unique story to tell. Some are avid readers and writers, while others are still building confidence and discovering their voices. What unites them is a desire to learn, connect, and grow. Resources in our classroom are limited, but my students never let that limit their enthusiasm. They thrive when given engaging books, meaningful activities, and a welcoming space where they feel seen and supported. With additional resources, my students can read stories that reflect their lives, explore new perspectives, and strengthen the skills that will carry them into the future. Every day they inspire me with their creativity, humor, and drive to succeed.
