My classroom is a place where creativity, curiosity, and learning come together! I teach middle school art and 7th-grade geography, and I love helping students discover new interests, explore the world around them, and express themselves in unique ways. My students enjoy hands-on projects, collaborative activities, and opportunities to learn by doing. Whether they are creating artwork, exploring different cultures, or discovering how people and places shape our world, I want every student to feel encouraged to participate and proud of what they accomplish. What makes my classroom special is the opportunity for students to learn in different ways and discover talents they may not have known they had. I believe learning should be engaging, meaningful, and accessible to every student. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable taking creative risks, asking questions, working together, and learning from their mistakes. After more than 20 years in education, I still love finding new ways to make learning memorable for my students. I want them to leave my classroom with more than knowledge and skills. I want them to develop confidence, creativity, compassion, and a lifelong love of learning.
