My students are diverse. Some were born in the US, and others are immigrants that have only recently settled here. They speak many languages and for some English is a new language that’s often quite challenging to learn. They bring their life experiences and cultures to our classroom which only enhances and enriches our collective learning experiences. We explore various Social Studies subjects including US History, Civics, World History, and Economics . I also work closely with individual students to help them develop academic and core subject matter skills in my resource classes. Many of my students have learning challenges. My students and I work hard to help each of them reach their goals.
