My first grade classroom is in an inner-city school, where I have the privilege of working with a diverse group of young learners who come to school each day with unique academic, social, and emotional needs. My students are curious, energetic, and eager to learn, but many face challenges outside of the classroom that can impact their ability to focus and feel successful at school. Our classroom is a place where I work hard to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where every child knows they are valued and capable of learning. Because resources can be limited, I am always looking for ways to provide my students with materials and tools that support their learning and help them develop independence. Thank you for helping me make our classroom a place where my students can feel supported, confident, and excited to learn!
