My students are eager to work hard, get smart, and follow their dreams. Education is truly valued as a way to create change that will better members of the global community. Students are constantly enriching the classroom with their life experiences. Through these connections to their own lives and the world, the entire class experiences a deeper learning experience. As eighth graders, students are preparing for the exciting next step of high school. We intentionally work on this through an incorporation of discussion strategies, executive functioning skills, and identity development.
