My students are creative, energetic, and full of potential. They come into the music room ready to explore, move, and express themselves through sound, rhythm, and performance. Many of them thrive in hands-on learning environments where they can actively participate, collaborate with their peers, and build confidence through music. They are resilient learners who take pride in their progress, whether they are playing an instrument for the first time or preparing for a school performance. For some students, music is where they feel most successful—it’s a space where they can shine, be heard, and feel valued. They support one another, celebrate each other’s achievements, and grow together as a community of young musicians. Above all, my students are eager, determined, and deserving of opportunities that allow them to succeed, express themselves, and experience the joy of making music.
