I have about 120 students come through my classroom each day. STEAM class is an oasis of creativity, science, engineering and exploration. This is a space where we support and encourage each other, and students are free to be their authentic selves. We are an accessible maker space, with some of our makers working with physical materials and some working digitally. Each week students are introduced to a new skill, new profession and a new person, and then they have an opportunity to engage in a hands-on activity related to their lesson.

About my class
