Most of my students are of Latino origin. Many of them are new to the United States. They inspire my life to overcome my own obstacles. Because despite the fact that they have very important economic and social problems, they keep going. As children, many have faced not seeing their mother and siblings for years. Some have suffered abuse. Some of them not only do not speak English but also do not speak Spanish as they come from indigenous communities that speak a dialect. Despite everything they face life and try to adapt. It is very difficult to be teenagers, but I am hopeful for a successful future for them. And I know that I am helping them to be good citizens and to contribute good things to this country that has received them by giving them an opportunity for education and development. Thank you for supporting my project and my students who are a great blessing to me.
