As a new teacher, my classroom is in need of manipulatives, games, books and alternate seating that will help enhance my students’ educational experience. I would love to get several new books to build up my small classroom library. Students love to have options, and I would like to provide books that fit each of their interests. I believe students learn best with hands-on learning and a variety of options as we all learn in different ways. Providing the students with math activities and manipulatives will help solidify the concepts we are learning each day. I also believe having an alternate seating option for my extra energetic students will be beneficial in helping them to focus and concentrate during class time. Our class has recently received a few of these chairs and I have seen improvements in the attentiveness from those that have had the opportunity to use them.
