Since my school is a Title 1 school, majority of students struggle at home, they are either have no parent, 1 parent or are in foster care. They do not get proper help academically at home, majority of students are struggling academically. Students are 2-3 grade levels behind and the pandemic has not helped the learning environment. By having these extra supplies in the class, it will allow me as the teacher fill in those learning gaps during small group instruction and expose the students and allow them to put skills into practice that they did not get the proper practice in.

About my class
