This science table will enable the students in my class to work safely on projects that they are excited about. We plan to use this for all science subjects including biology, chemistry, physics experiments and many others. So many students in the classroom are interested in science and other stem related activities. Right now students have to utilize an unstable plastic table. Because it wobbles a bit there have been many spills. Because of this I do not want the children to work with materials that may be dangerous or heavy and so our experiments have been limited. This may be the table where somebody's curiosity is peaked and an impressionistic lesson opens up a new world that will change a child's future. Students who are exposed to science are likely to develop an inquisitive and investigative mindset. The benefits of this extend beyond science and the classroom. We have plans to study rocket propulsion, chemical reactions, biology dissections and anything science related. This is a first step to an innovated science program in our classroom.
