Students at my school have the opportunity to enroll in keyboarding/computer classes so they can enhance their typing skills as well as learn about digital media and create projects that will ensure their knowledge of the many digital platforms available to them are sufficient for high school and beyond. Students work on projects that utilize Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Microsoft Word, Gmail, and Publisher to gain knowledge of the different options available to them. We also utilize every opportunity to provide students with the tools they need to be successful far beyond our school. It is important that my students be able to keep up in a digital age that is becoming prominent to this day and time. I strive to provide them with every tool available so they are equipped and ready to conquer whatever they encounter. Much of my teaching is modeled so students can see what their own work should look like or how they should be utilizing the keyboard for optimal performance in keyboarding skills.
