The majority of the students that come through my classes are lacking in some of the basic school supplies that are needed to be successful in the classroom. Most of them come economically disadvantaged homes. The COVID-19 pandemic has just exacerbated this issue for my students. With the supplies I requested I will be able to issue pouches to my students that can not afford the supplies they need to help with learning at home, while keeping up with their educational strides. Students will also expand their knowledge of American History by being able create and complete maps, charts, tables and graphs. And by being able to complete these activities they will be able to succeed in my classroom and other classrooms in the building.
