With the education department taking several hits since the pandemic, my project is to create a classroom environment that encourages developmentally appropriate growth and interactions. We are missing several key items and tools in our classrooms that would allow students to learn more effectively. Each item on the list I have created will provide our students the opportunity to make the best of our learning activities. For example, having enough headphones for each child will allow students to understand their IXL and Razz Kids' directions without any other distractions. Having enough crayons will allow students to have their own resources instead of scrambling to find the color they are instructed to use through their Savvas instructions. Having an alphabet rug will allow them to have a pre-assigned spot for our carpet time.
