The incubator, starter trays, river stones, and seeds will teach my students about growing their own food, sustainability, cultivation, and ensure they have life long skills to take with them. Students will learn of plant and animal life cycles, food sourcing, harvesting, and long term benefits that each provide. Planting seeds, growing food, hatching eggs, and raising chickens will give my students something to look forward to in class and provide skills to enhance their overall well-being and share with future generations. Funding this project will enhances the lives of my students and creates positivity amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
