Permanent markers will allow my art classes to express themselves by creating art on shiny ceramic tiles with more ease and much less prep, supplies, and ink failure than by using alternate media. The markers will save the time and hassle of a liquid medium, and means my large art classes can all work at once on the same project, simultaneously sharing their excitement, suggestions, methods, victories, and ideas. Donating permanent markers for this project will provide my art students the means to create a self-expressive, professional-looking, frameable tile art or coaster they can keep or use as a gift for a parent, family member, or friend.
