This will help my students understand some of the history their ancestors and families faced. It will allow them to find a sense of who they are and the history they carry within them. These books will motivate them to see themselves the next generation that will lead our world and society. These books will be used in group novel projects, Also as a way to spotlight immigrant woman who have been able to change their lives and those of others. These books will tie in to what we are discussing in social studies and science as well by talking about real life situations and people in those content areas.

About my class
