Many of our students miss 10 or more days right now due to quarantine. Our district allows teachers the option to teach simultaneously or provide independent study options for students. This leaves a lot of confusion for students since they are not told up front which teachers will have work left for them and which will hold class virtually. Additionally, when teachers are out with subs, virtual instruction doesn't happen. These students need a consistent place to go after quarantine to make up the work they missed and graduate on-time. Ensuring that they can come back to campus and have a comfortable space to work in with guided direction from myself and other teachers will support them after the multiple challenges they have faced. This printer will allow us to print out resources so that students can access them in multiple ways to meet their diverse needs.
